wikipedia
Wikipedia is an extremely popular website that many people use to get information from. The problem is anyone can edit the articles and can sometimes be hard to determine if the information is correct. When I was in high school we were always told not to use Wikipedia when doing research. I have also had many of my college teachers tell me not to use Wikipedia due to the fact that you can't know what is real and what is not. So in terms of reliability I am not sure if it is always the best source of information. I think if you are looking for something general, the fact that people can edit is great because it allows people with real knowledge to add to the article. But when you are doing serious research I don't think Wikipedia is a good source of information. If they could keep it maintained in a way where it was good information then it would be a great source for students to use while doing research.

I agree with you, Allie. I think it would be a better place to find information if people could not go in and edit and delete information as they please. My high school teachers also told us to avoid this site as well as most of my college professors.
